I have tried to solve for r best they could, even my math teacher can not understand ... I hope someone can help me, I will 10 points, give the person best able to explain step by step, how to deal with this matter.

Let A = (R/12), so it is easier to tap.
S = 150 ((1 + A) ^ 300 - 1) / A
S/150 * A = (1 + A) ^ 300-1
0 = (1 + A) ^ 300 -1 - (1 + A) * (S/150) + S/150
Now you have a simple polynomial (1 + A).

The formula is not correct. Please explain how the formula is derived.
